I came across this after multiple searches and despite few reviews, I decided to take a chance. While true it is plastic, it isn't the normal cheap plastic I was expecting. It is of decent quality and holds my Vive well.While it appears for any VR headset, several things about it help keep things from falling off. The Platform because of its size, supports the weight of the headset and when balanced with the round part going back, ensures it won't fall off. It is also quite sturdy on the desk even without rubber feet. With the addition of the hard VIVE audio strap, it only makes it more secure and increases the balance. The straps that normally come with the vive still work quite well, figured I should point that out.For the money I spent, it was well worth it.
