FAST PHONE AND VALUE FOR MONEY
Nice phone and fast working. I am still working things out with it yet but good value for money. Battery life excellent clear screen, easy to hold. Don't know about durability yet as not had very long. Have removed several unwanted apps, puzzles and games not my scene, don't want buying apps as prefer my trusty laptop for that.

Probably the best value new phone in mid 2025.
The cons below are mostly niche like wireless charging or arguably beneficial like plastic material. Pros + Big incredibly bright OLED display (120Hz); + Great audio; + Chip and RAM perform smoothly in standard phone apps; + ฤฐnexplicably high resolution selfie camera (32MP!?); + Large battery; + Motorola's Android is fairly stock; + Light for the size; + ฤฐncluded a good quality case; + Low mid range price; + Torch activated with two shakes; + Camera bump big enough to help hold the phone but not too big; and + High base storage 256GB and expandable. Cons - Will only be updated to Android 17 (currently 15); - Only 4 years security updates (Google Samsung Apple offer more); - No wireless charging; - No display out; - Plastic build; and - Mediatek chip struggles with some 3D games

Good price
For the money a very nice phone. Arrived a day earlier than expected. Bought this to replace a Z flip that decided to completely shut down every time I closed it. The battery life is very good, the camera takes clear sharp pics. I've called, texted and even used my bank card on it today, everything seems to work fine. Still getting used to it but I think it probably does exactly the same things as my old phone, if not more ,for a lot less money. Oh, nearly forgot. I could see the screen in sunlight. YES!!!!

Two months of using this phone & I am regretting having to change to upgrade
This is a reasonably good mobile phone, well built, good battery life & storage capacity. Looks good & is responsive but there are a few niggles that I have after using it for a couple of months. It annoyingly turns back on at night after I shut it down & recharge it. I have tried doing restarts as suggested when I researched this issue but this hasn't helped at all. It is also so much more fussy than my previous Motorola mobile phones, it seems that with progress comes more control & interfering, particularly by Google which I find irritating more than helpful.

Mid priced top quality.
Mid priced phone with big memory and big ram. Works well on 5th gen transmitters giving fast response and also works for phone calls would you believe. I've had Moto phones from day 1, they've always been good performers and have kept up with the increasing complexity of today's web use. Not quite up to Apple standards but a very capable piece of technology.

Not dual SIM.
Does not support dual SIM as description states. It is single SIM and micro SD card only. Motorola, please stop including unwanted apps. If customers want them they may install from Playstore. Their mobile phones used to have a more or less stock Android. In addition, the under display fingerprint sensor is poor in comparison to my previous G84 and all the volume controls have to be set at maximum to achieve a decent level. I am returning it because it would appear Lenovo have not carried on the quality of previous G8x series phones.

Photography excels, has ois
I like motos. The last one I had is a one vision with ois and it took wonderful videos in low light (which is part of my work) but after 4 years it lost video sound then ois but it still works fine as a phone. I struggled on with an Honor which was not great. Sales weakened, I got this and sales have picked up again because of the quality of video. Having said that the Honor has better photo editing. Bloatware is not too intrusive (don't get a Samsung!) Endless promoting of unwanted Gemini ai is annoying but Google is very annoying too. As a phone the voice calls are clear enough, sound quality medium, the Android update to 16 was immediate, the memory is rather mean for this day and age but I got it for the camera and that delivers. Colour is good too as we try and decipher which is our black/grey phone among the pile. It's a very medium phone, under ยฃ200. Then there's the camera!!

Excellent midrange phone
Great midrange phone. I'm a fan of the Motorola and I like to treat myself to a new mobile every year. This G86 5g doesn't disappoint. A good super bright screen, great camera and a very smooth Android user experience with good build quality. The 68W Turbo Charging is excellent, especially when you forget to charge your phone. I have looked at other brands but nothing as yet beats the Motorola at this price point.
