works perfectly in situations where extra power isn’t required. RPM measurement comes from the fan plugged into the socket with all 4 pins, all connectors are black so double check this if you need to know which fan is the one being reported. Quality is just fine, the single end where all cores are combined is a bit stiff as expected but not enough to be a problem.

I picked up this 2-pack of Cable Matters 3-way 4-pin PWM fan splitter cables for my latest ITX build, and honestly, they made all the difference. When you’re working inside a really compact case, cable management is everything, especially if you’re adding extra fans for proper airflow. I needed to connect several 80x10mm fans for top exhaust and side intake, and there’s no way I could’ve done it without these splitters. The extra length (12 inches / 30cm) made routing the cables way easier and helped keep everything neat, which also helps airflow. Both my top exhaust and side intake fans are still spinning strong, and I haven’t run into any issues with power delivery or weird RPM drops, everything just works.
