no clamp comes with this unit. you can get one a Lowes or Home depot. this tool is very helpful, I did all my cabinet boors in no time. very easy to use.

What is widest hole spacing this covers without repositioning?

The widest hole positioning for this tool is 5in/128mm center to center of the holes,.

Does it work placing a longer handle say 13 inches long?

if you need to use longer pulls, i would use the side of the drawer to line up the tool and use the left guide to set the position of the right hole for your handle, then line up with the left side of the drawer and use the right guide to position the left hole. The all depends on the overall size of your drawer and the positioning of your holes. remember, it's a jig, a jig needs a point of reference (in this case the side of the drawer) and a way to lock the position of the hole. If you can't do them both at the same time, then figure out the position of the left hole, cut all the left holes, and then come back and fit the position of the right, test it one one handle and if it works repeat on all remaining drawers.

Does jig have a lip/edge or is clamp needed every time?

This made the job so easy!

I refinished my old kitchen cabinets and I’m doing so I filled all the holes from the old handles so that I could change them out (they had been on an angle). This left me with the daunting job of drilling into over 40 cabinet doors and drawers. As a diy-er it felt very daunting, I had considered making my own template and had researched some other jigs however decided to purchase this one as it’s from a great and reliable brand and I liked how sturdy it was. All I can say is wow, I’m so happy I did! It made the job so easy and I was able to do my kitchen in less than 2 hours (as a first timer). If you need to drill holes for cabinet pulls/knobs this is a must-have in my opinion!
