I don’t mind sacrificing ease of use for qualityWhat went wrong: The cutter is welded to inside of the sleeve on 2 sides. The weld on one 1 side failed the first time used on ear number 3, it was still partially useable until the 2nd failed on cob #6.The product could be improved by better construction. Photos 2 and 3 are the points of contact, they are completely smooth and show absolutely zero adhesion of the cutter braces to the body of sleeve.
