This product was installed on my Jeep Wrangler TJ. Product was easy to put on. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Thanks to Rancho for a great product.

Running this on a LJ with 4"+ lift. I have had great luck driving but the vehicle would follow the road and wander a little. Added this and the road curve stopped causing my Jeep to wander. Also purchased due to it said made in USA on the housing. Always spend a little extra for that when I can. So far it works well. Came with all the hardware needed to mount.

It really helped with the problem with wandering at higher speeds because of 3” lift and 35” tires. The steering now has more resistance and feel in the steering wheel resulting in less wandering. It didn’t solve the problem entirely but it is 75% better. Installation wasn’t too bad but be ready to beat on the old one with a big hammer to remove the old one. YouTube videos available.

I have a 2003 GMC 1500HD 2wd that I put a level kit on and some 285s. I also put KYB mono max shocks on it as well. The truck drove, well, like a truck. All the front end parts are good and had a competent person align the truck but it still had minor bump steer. I had the bracket and hole in the steering linkage but my truck wasnt originally equipped with a dampener. After installing this, it made a significant to me dofference. It drives a lot smoother and less like an “old truck”. Very happy. I do recommend getting a reamer to clean the hole in the steering linkage. This helped me fully seat the bolt in stud for the dampener. Again, if you don’t have one, install this. It will help a lot. If you have one that isn’t worn, not sure it will make a difference.

Very easy install and fixed the occasional wobble in the front of my Jeep. Some of the reviews on here complained about paint quality. My unit looked nice. I just applied the Rancho sticker, red boot and installed it using the factory hardware. The passenger side bolt is short on clearance so plane on using a wrench as a socket will not fit. I believe it is 17mm.

You can feel how much smoother it is to turn after replacing a 6+ year old stablizer that has no resistance. Looks nice, works great, cheap fix for a deathwobble or someone looking to add some look and performance top their jeep. Do yourself a favor and make sure that you have time to get the old stock one out cause they get stuck pretty bad. I recommend spraying the bolt farthermost to the right with some grease or wd40 a couple days before the project every couple hours for a few days to start and get that grease in the joint. On the day, get a torch and heat it up for a bit with some fresh wd40 and get a pin hammer cover the bottom bit with a rag so you dont bend or streach out and hit it with that hammer it should pop out after a while depending on how bad yours is stuck, mine took like a half an hour of hammering before it popped out. I would have given this stabilizer a 5 star review except for the provided mounting stud. The stud provides attachment between the stabilizer end and the steering idler arm. Very similar to a tie rod end. Rancho specifications provide for a 35 FT LB tightening of the stud to arm mounting nut. This torque did not pull the tapered fitting into the arm socket far enough to insert the provided castle cotter pin. further tightening to seat the stud caused to threads to strip. I removed the provided stud and used the stud from the previous stabilizer to complete the installation. The metal the stud is made of is very soft. Aluminum maybe? But definitely not 40 or 80 grade steel that is needed in this application.

Fit Right in. Steering feels much better now. In hindsight, and this is just personal preference, I would have picked a black Stabilizer instead of white and red which stands out too much for my taste as the Jeep is blacked out.

No issues, comes with all the hardware and shock fits and works as expected.

Replaced bilstein 5100's on my tj because they were too stiff. More comfortable, progressive rate is felt with rancho's. Both slow and full speed performance. Top notch amazon service, arrived before delivery date.
