This gets five stars because it works exactly as it should. However, it still is not perfect. Things I like: - Has a cover with a handle and holes for steam. The holes might be a might big that might lead to a little bit of splatter in your microwave, but I havent noticed anything significant in mine. - Large surface area - very easy to use Things that could be improved: - There is another similar gadget that has a pour spout for the grease, but they misplaced it, using a full side instead of a corner. I wish they would add a little bit of a pour spout on a corner to make it easier to pour out the grease, which you should do after EACH use. - The slats are still a bit shallow and parts of your bacon can end up sitting in grease a bit too much for my liking. (however, I understand this would make it harder to clean) - side walls could be a little higher to decrease chance of spilling when removing from the microwave. While this is by no means HARD to clean, I've determined the best and easiest way to clean this (especially if youre like me and you use multiple times in a row). If you have an electrical kettle (which everyone should have btw), boil about 4 cups of water, squirt some dish soap onto the tray, then pour the boiling water directly onto the tray and just let it sit there for a few minutes. Once that's done, the stuck on bacon remnants remove rather easily, and then you can either toss this thing in the dish washer or wash it yourself with a little elbow grease. While this thing is not perfect, it produces excellent bacon consistently. It reduces the mess DRASTICALLY when compared to cooking in a pan, and I honestly love this thing. Ive seen so many other microwave bacon gadgets try to do such a simple thing in many different ways. This one is by far the best, the simplest, and its only $9!!!!!!!!! Perfect gadget for me, even if its not perfect in itself.

I didn't know microwave bacon cooking was a thing but it turns out it is and it works! It's easy to experiment to get the bacon exactly how you want it and once you get the microwave power and cooking time dialed in, it's repeatable and you can get the same perfectly cooked bacon every time. I love that! The bottom has little black specs in it which I originally thought was manufacturing dirt/grease but it was not, it was a part of the plastic. The bacon grill exactly fits the turntable in my Panasonic SA6515 microwave. It wouldn't fit in a smaller microwave. I hand wash my dishes and the grill is kind of a pain to clean but it is still easier than cleaning out the oven or stove top after cooking bacon. I think the lid could benefit from a re-design. The handle to remove the lid is flush with the top of the lid and even though it is textured, it's hard to grasp. Also, the underside of the handle is hollow and traps grease making it harder to clean. The plastic smell goes away after a few uses. In hindsight, it might have been a good idea to soak it in vinegar before using it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the grill, but not 5 star satisfied because of the issues I mentioned.

This is the best thing in my kitchen! Lay the bacon out, cover on, 7- minutes at 80% cooks bacon crisp. Use a ove glove to take it out because it's hot. Bacon comes out flat, not curled up and not greasy. I'm not kidding, this is the greatest!

Great little gadget. I've had one for years and love it. Just bought this one as a gift. Bacon cooks quickly and evenly. easy soap and water clean up. No messy, greasy stove top or fry pan to clean up. Perfect.

I tried for some time to find tray which is usable in a microwave with a firm base, this is the best I found by far. I microwave bacon and sausages and find it to be ideal.

This bacon grill is fantastic! The item was packaged well, good instructions and works as described. Cooks the bacon evenly and cleans up easily - (I've only washed by hand). The grill and lid are made out of solid material and seem to be of good quality. I have a larger turntable so it's no problem to turn with this large grill, but if your microwave is too small to turn with this grill you can turn the turntable off in any microwave by lifting out the centre piece under the turntable glass and once done just place it back (an appliance sales person taught me that trick). I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend the product.
