A little over five years ago, I suffered a traumatic injury to my brain (TBI). To say that life has been a struggle is an understatement. With the support of my friends and a lot of professionals, I get a little better every day. All of the brain specialists that help me with this condition have told me the same thing. “The injured brain works diligently night and day to regain lost function, but it takes time”. This is “Doctor Speak” for telling me to give it ten years…” One of my more progressive specialists suggested that I might want to try some alternative therapies including Selank Diacetate. After doing some research, I was intrigued with its anxiolytic (anti anxiety), nootropic (cognitive enhancing), anti-depressant, and neuro-protective properties (protects neurons from apoptosis and oxidative stress). The research, although limited, appears solid and the results, while not at the double-blind empirical level, are promising. The chemical itself is FDA approved for research use (not therapeutic) so I discussed it with my physicians, and when I received no objections, I decided to give it a whirl. First of all, the DR OLFACTICS product is delivered as a nasal inhaler. Simply insert the spray tip into your nostril and spray while inhaling. If you are like me and feel like nasal sprays are drowning, you may want to keep your sprays light to start. Fortunately, this spray is buffered and Ph Balanced. It’s tolerable, even for people like me. My doctors have me tracking memory changes, incidents of depressive episodes, periods of anxiety, or other noticeable changes in mood or sense of well being. At this point, it hasn’t made anything worse. As with any therapy, the studies say it takes time. Price wise the product costs a lot less than any of my current prescriptions and if it helps, it’ll be worth its weight in gold. Does it work? I don’t yet know, but I’ll keep those reading this review posted by updating my comments here should anything change. Wish me luck on this continued adventure in healing! Note that the rating I’ve given the product thus far in my evaluation is reflective of the high quality documentation provided by the vendor (that and the nasal mist doesn’t burn my sinuses or make me feel as though I’m drowning. I’ll take the little wins!)

Doesn’t work. I’ve purchased this through a compounding pharmacy and this is nothing like what I’ve used before.

I noticed a glaring spelling mistake on the label. The word “solution” is misspelled as “soliuton.” If such a basic error slips through it really makes me question what kind of quality control is in place. Details matter, and this does not inspire confidence.

Unfortunately, I'm just not feeling any measurable change from using this nasal spray. I was hoping it would help focus. I'll continue trying and update if I have any future success with it.
