The color is true to the picture and perfectly matches the color scheme of the room. The main reason that I keep ordering these quilts is due to the size. It is huge and fits my king size bed the way that I want it to. It covers the entire bed and is wide enough to cover the foundation of my bed. Why this is so difficult to find I do not know. I have ordered so many other quilts trying to find just one that fits and I still had to order a california king to make that happen. It is very thin which is perfect for our southern summers. I do not have time to baby laundry...it's a tough love situation since everything just gets thrown in the washer with detergent and dried in the dryer.
