Distributes heat evenly, it is heavier by weight than I expected,larger loaves
I love this pan for baking breads of all kinds. I like it , because the loaves I have made have turned out perfect I believe due to not only my recipes, but how well the stainless steel holds and distributes the heat. I also appreciate the size of the loaves I have made. I have made gluten free ,vegan , zucchini bread and a gluten free, vegan white squash bread that turned out fabulous. I can hardly wait to try making gluten free sourdough bread and gluten free, vegan pumpkin bread in it. I also see that it can be used to make casseroles. Though I do not make casseroles and lasagna typically I am going to try making them using this pan. I line it with parchment paper for easy cleaning. The quality is good. It is heavier than I expected and for the money I spent that is a winner!

Excellent quality for price - perfect for my sourdough bread with 2nd pan used as a cover
For awhile I have been looking for a 12x5 stainless or glass loaf pan where one pan could fit over the other as a cover to bake sourdough bread. I have found that you can’t do that with most loaf pans, including my own. I was thrilled to find these larger than average stainless steel pans that fit together well enough to secure one as a cover. They are well made and heavy enough, and are so easy to wash. Even though they are dishwasher safe, I handwash because it is so easy to do so. I use ghee (which has a high enough smoke point for the 425 degree oven I bake my bread in) to grease the bottom pan The bread never sticks in the pan, pops right out. I’m so very happy with these, the ease of use, the effortless care required, and they cost a quarter of the cast iron versions. I’ve tried two different cast iron loaf pans with nicely designed tops and they baked very well, but I found them just too bulky and heavy for me to use 2-3 times a week, and I hate cleaning them and worrying about rust and re-seasoning. I should note that the width measurement is off (as with most loaf pans). The actual width at the bottom is 4”.

Perfect for Challah
This pan worked great for baking a Challah bread without overflowing. My recipe had 3-1/3 cups of flour. Baked at 350F for 35 minutes. At 25 minutes lightly covered the bread with aluminum foil to prevent over browning. Bread when pulled from the oven had an internal temperature around 197 degrees F. Perfect loaf.

The real deal.
I like the longer size that allows a more desirable loaf for me. The bread loaf just slides out nicely after baking if cooking spray is used. Rounded inside corners make it easy to clean and there is nowhere place for debris to collect.

Stainless Steel Bread Pans
These CHEF Loaf Pans were of quality stainless steel. The bread baked evenly with no hot spots. The top edge of the pan was nicely rolled and the pan was very sturdy. As an avid baker, I would recommend these pans.

Love these pans!
These pans make an excellent size loaf of bread. I use them weekly, and have used them for several styles of bread. Sandwich bread, sourdough, banana, and orange cranberry. They are also easy to clean. Use butter or olive oil and breads do not stick. Definitely worth purchasing.
