Review: Strong magnets, clear instructions - The box of magnets comes with plastic separators and instructions on how to slide the magnets apart. I still managed to trap a fingertip, but that's on me. Really strong magnets - I use them on model flight stands, so I can transport the model and stand separately, but they're still firmly attached for display. These magnets fit the bill perfectly - the latest model I used them on is nearly 1kg/2lbs in weight, and there's not the slightest unsteadiness when it's magnetised on the stand. Not the cheapest magnets, but super-strong and they support much more expensive models perfectly.

**Q: what is the maximum heat tolerance of these  magnets**
A: 80 degree centigrade

**Q: Are thes magnets suitable for misti stamping platforms?**
A: I have no knowledge of Misti - but basically they are powerful magnets suitable for holding items in place on any magnetic material.

**Q: What is the axis of the magnetic field, is it North pole on one flat (say top) and South on the bottom or is the field north-south across the disk?**
A: Its north on top and south on the bottom.thats why they stick together in a row.

**Q: Do these magnets rust if exposed to outdoor use?  I'm wondering if corrosion would stain other surfaces while holding a cover to a van bonnet?**
A: I think they may do as I used for holding down frost covering on car windscreen as and when frost forecast and did see signs on one of tarnishing. May also want to check with seller.
