Nevertheless, my mattress sucked, so it was still a big difference to me. It is the equivalent to sleeping ontop a duvet (that's strapped to the bed firmly so doesn't wander). Plus fairly cheap for the size. Packaging was easy enough too.The bad: The featherproof part is a lie. After only 6 sleeps on it, I have several large patches of feathertips poking me through my fitted sheets. The way they puncture through It can feel like sleeping on stubble. Will be attempting to return it, as I can only assume this issue to get worse with time.Edit: Added a picture of one of the needle-like feathers penetrating the featherproof fabric (but without the fitted sheets, as this was during boxing it away for return). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made the bed more comfortable *by E***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2018* Our mattress is only a couple of years old and purchased from a "never knowingly" brand, so it was not cheap. Following several holidays in decent hotels, it was realised that the mattress was firmer than originally imagined. This Topper really does soften up the bed. Not too much but enough to make all the difference. It only went on the bed this week, so it's not been washed yet, so cannot comment on that aspect.
