Also ideal as a BBQ / Braai spice We buy in the imported spice in 2kg packs, so we personally make up the 200g packs which are weighed out on our certified scales - you will always get a bit extra. The spice will come in a clear vacuum packed bag together with instructions. 200g is is enough for 5-6kg meat. Simple instructions.. Weigh your meat and cut into strips/steaks, (optional - sprinkle with a bit of vinegar or worcester sauce - about 30ml per kg meat), then sprinkle 45g per kg Crown National spice, mix it well in a plastic bowl. Leave overnight or for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge - turning occasionally. Hang to dry.. (Note: We always use about 35g per kg meat although Crown National recommend 45g as we find it a bit strong). Ingredients: Flavouring [maize, MSG (flavour enhancer E621), colourant (E150c), vegetable fat, (palm fruit) anticacking agent (E551), dehydrated vegetable (garlic), hydrolysed vegetable protein, flavour enhancers (E631, E627). herbs] salt, spices, preservative (potassium sorbate E202) sugar, CELERY. Yummy!! ### ⭐ Not Crown National *by D***D on 2 April 2014* I ordered two bags online and arrived very quickly but unfortunately on opening the package I found not the original packing but two flimsy clear plastic bags with a label printed from a home printer and because the product has been taken out of the original packaging (that is assuming they did not make it themselves), this product could be contaminated.
