I purchased these to use for extra visibility when making deliveries in a rural area with no road shoulders. They're slim and don't look too gaudy when off but very bright after dark, naturally. There's a nice selection of different strobe patterns easily toggled with a switch built into the plug. I had originally hoped to put one in both front and rear windscreens but the cord between the two is not long enough. The plug cord however was more than long enough to run to the rear of a hatchback sedan while tucking it completely out of sight into the weatherstripping. I had initial concerns regarding mounting as others have had issues with the suction cups. Luckily, there were nifty little double sided adhesive pads that can be applied inside the suction cups for reinforcement. I open the hatch regularly and they are still holding tight 3 weeks in. Very happy with these emergency lights. There is actually 25 flash patterns instead of 20. BONUS!There is just enough wiring to run from the back of my F150 Supercrew 4x4's rear window , down the passenger side, under the trim, and under the dash to the center, right by the 12v socket! I had problems with two suction cups, even after cleaning the window first, but I just slightly moistened them and they've been stuck good for the last couple weeks and counting! There was extra hardware and extra suction cups! Very happy, especially considering these lights are so inexpensive. The cases are plastic, but very sturdy. I am very pleased with them and this seller! I may, at some point, cut off the lighter plug and hardwire it, which would included mounting switches into the dash that match my other switches.
