Rust-Oleum 7215502 Stops Rust Hammered Brush On Paint, Quart (2 Pack), Black

This paint is extremely durable outdoors. It’s the only brand that I’ve found to have this hammered copper color. It’s beautiful! Just make sure to use in a well ventilated area because it does have a strong smell, but it goes away when dry.

This paint is beautiful! The color looks better than I imagined. Just look at the before and after. The dark brown is amazing and makes my gate look like new.

Rust Oleum hammered black in my opinion is the best choice for painting rotiron. After using cheap spray paint, And only having it last about a month before rusting. I chose hammered black. I’ve painted the rotor on with this three times in 30 years. It’s oil base,Sticky and smelly. I wear 2 surgical gloves underneath a cloth glove and wipe the paint on this way. Because using a roller and a brush is a mess with this thick, sticky paint. That’s what I love about it. It covers rust for 10 years.

The color is gorgeous. It covers the surface. You won’t need more than two layers of paint. Happy with the overall performance of the paint. Great value.
