to start let me explain that i am not young and i had problems with new technology. not only do they sell a fantastic product but they are patient and talk you through setting it up! i would definitely buy from them again!! they are superb!!!

Edit: I was contacted by the seller and they took care of it!! 10/10 for customer service!! I ordered these for my kids when they went on a trip to the city with family. I was able to track them from my iPhone when they pinged off of other iPhones, so it did what I needed it to. Come the start of the school year, I just tossed them in each of my kids backpacks. They did great for a couple weeks, then my son said his kept beeping in the middle of class (2nd grade). His teacher took the tag out and “set it outside the classroom.” I was able to get it back, but it was reading like the battery was low. I would rather it just stop working than beep in my kids class and cause a disruption. On the other hand, I took my daughters out of her bag and tossed it in my purse. It alerted my husbands phone that a tracking device was nearby and we were able to track everywhere my purse had gone and for how long. It’s a really great feature, but why wouldn’t it show that for both devices on my phone from the beginning? It never showed me any of that on my iphone (same as my husbands). I don’t know, I wanted it for peace of mind with my kids for their ride to/from school but it was basically useless. I guess it’s good for tracking my purse now.

If someone finds your item, they are meant to scan the QR code so it sends you an alert that it has been found. However, on one of the devices, the QR code was misprinted. The device still pairs with the iPhone, so it can still be used as a tracker but the loss of additional functionality is disappointing.
