I question whether 6 ounces is needed to lube the seal. It seems that pouring in just enough to completely cover the bottom of the bowl would lube it.

I'm sorry to say this stuff was garbage. It was easier to just go buy a new seal than to waste the $ on this. Didn't even work a little bit.

do i pour in while the toilet has water in it or should the seal be dry?

Pour in with no water. Make sure valve is closed. Pour about a 1/4 of container if I remember correctly and leave overnight. Fixed my seal. Hasn't leaked since

Can it be used with valve lube or is this the same thing

The two products are compatible with one another and serve two different purposes. Toilet seal works in the bowl to keep the flush valve functioning . Valve lube goes straight into the blackwater (poo) tank and ALSO in the greywater (sink&shower) tank to prevent problems with the seals that keep the drain valves operational. I use both as preventive maintenance.

Does this work for the seal on cassette toilets?

This is not a sealant. It is simply advertised as a lubricant for sliding toilet parts. If you're using it as such....it should work

This should stop the seal perishing over the winter when not in use

Works great

Found our RV toilet not sealing. Did not hold water above the seal. Used this as per instructions and the toilet is back to normal. Better than changing out a seal. At season end after winterizing I use this and leave it there for a few days before dropping into the black tank. Works great.

Wow!!! This stuff is amazing! The toilet kept leaking water out of the bowl which made the camper stink. Used this once and it sealed it up!! Will be buying more!
