But reviews say it is made in China. Which is correct? Thanks.** A: The original Old Timer Sharpfinger knives WERE made in the USA, this was before the company went belly up and was bought by Taylor Brands LLC. All the current production run are made in China. Also the angle of the grind on the edge, and the edge bevel were drastically changed by Taylor Brands LLC to facilitate less expensive manufacturing of the product. **Q: How thick is the blade?** A: I'm not for sure how thick the blade is but I am 58 y/o and I have been using the same knife since I was 15 y/o. It is the perfect size for skinning animals as well as fish. Also it holds a good edge if you use a wet stone. I bought this knife for my grandson and I hope he finds it as good as I have over the years. **Q: there is two different knives in the photos one with some lettering onbthe blade and one without which one will i get** A: Had to dig mine out of the junk-pile (made in china) but, no lettering on it. **Q: Does the sheath come with it?** A: yes comes with a leather sheath.
