You might think that's a bad thing but it's not. The other popular name brand would darken within 5 minutes, and I have stains in my shower curtains and bathtub splatters on my tile that just won't ever come off. Because Bigen takes so long for it to take effect and darken, I have a lot of time to clean up excess off of my neck with a rag, and rinse spots off the tile and shower curtain. The other popular name brand would stain the bottom of my bathtub while I was rinsing out my hair under the shower. Bigen does NOT do that.
