What is the difference between 14 inch and 12 inch? Is the bigger one easier to use?

I haven't tried both, I bought the 14 inch model after reading numerous reviews on both sizes. Let me say that I tend to research things to nth degree before buying. Although I wavered on possibly getting a 12-inch model due the difference in cost, I am very happy that I bought the larger model. It's very sturdy; your feet with not be crowded/lap over the edge like I read in a lot of the reviews for the smaller version. It's very, very easy to use. Hope this helps.

Can you twist on a chair

Question 4

Since i want to swing my arms, can i use it withour holding something? how ofter i need to grab something to keep me stable??

I think it might depend on your age and general fitness and balancing levels. That being said, I don't think you need to be in super-great shape. I am 70 and in pretty good health/fairly good shape  but not exceptionally athletic. I usually put the disc  in the back of a recliner so I can grab if I need to, but if I do, it's only for a brief moment every, I don't know, maybe 90 seconds?
