This is an extremely well made pole - strong and sturdy. It is heavy for me (woman but fairly strong). I got it for roof snow removal because all the dedicated snow removal rakes were sold out. I have not tried it yet but my gut tells me it'll be cumbersome even with a 1 story roof and not a steep pitch. It has no give. So quality 5 usability for snow removal, unsure. UPDATE : I sent this back and got the 24'. The 30' weighs 6 lbs. which I thought would be no problem as I have and use 8lb weights. The height and being able to use it was too cumbersome and physically tiring. Also the pole extensions, although well made, took a lot of effort to extend. The 24' pole weighs 4lbs but also seems quite heavy. This time, I will not unpack this until I am sure I can use this pole vertically. I just got it so have no idea how it will go. The return was very easy. Amazon came and picked up my 30' pole and dropped off the 24' - all within 24 hours of my return and reorder. The only thing that made me nervous was no receipt from the Amazon driver when he picked up my returned 30' pole. On line however, shows my return is in transit.

The pole arrived yesterday and I immediately unpacked it, assembled it, which was very easy, and got to work on my 1 1/2 and 2 story windows. I'v been waiting to get those done. The product performed as needed, but like other reviews, I found it a little hard to handle on the second story windows. There's a learning curve here, folks! It's heavy, and the squeegee has to be at the correct angle to get the glass wiped dry. The squeegees included in this kit are good quality. I know from experience that it's 'all in the squeegee work'. If you ever watch a professional, they start in the upper corner, go across the top of the glass, then swirl back and forth on the glass until they reach the bottom. This avoids streaks and they don't have to wipe the squeegee between passes because they aren't stopping and starting. Clearly that's not possible with this set up the way it is designed. This is 'top to bottom' only. You could adjust the head to go side to side, but the same problem develops as you are starting and stopping, which gives you a streak. It is helpful to wipe the squeegee rubber between each pass, this avoids streaks between the passes, but after a couple times of trying to bring that head down to wipe it off that got old and my arms got tired. I'm almost 70 so this wasn't that much fun. BUT, I did get them done and am very pleased with how the windows looked. My upper story windows haven't been done in several years now because of the height. I was going to hire it done this year but decided to give this product a try first, and I'm glad I did. I won't let things go so long next time. This tool will allow me to get them done each year at least! The sun room windows look crystal clear. That's the 1.5 story windows and they do get done every year. Overall I am pleased with this product and will use it again. I might have one of the kids come over to give me a hand handling the long pole when it's extended almost fully for the second story. Or, have them in the open window and have them wipe the rubber off between swipes so I don't have to lower the pole between wipes. That would work too! Overall I am pleased with this product, it's pretty sturdy, but not indestructible, the head is plastic after all, so I will handle it with care and enjoy the clean windows and the brilliant fall color shining through them!

Produkt hält was versprochen wird. Ist vom Gewicht auch bei über4 m noch hädelbar. Ein breiterer Glasabzieher als Zubehör wäre wünschenswert. Qualität und Stabilität muss noch länger getestet werden, zur Zeit alles Top.

Ho acquistato questo articolo che a causa di un imballaggio fatto in modo approssimativo è arrivato con uno degli accessori rotto nell'attacco e quindi inutilizzabile. Ho segnalato l'accaduto due volte al venditore e due volte mi è stato richiesto di inviare le foto, cosa fatta immediatamente, poi spariscono e non rispondono neanche ai solleciti via mail. Il prodotto è più pesante del previsto ma tutto sommato buono, peccato per il servizio inesistente!
