Thanks!! -Hutch Mountain **Q: Is the "learning process" supposed to be done on a 30amp connection or regular household current?** A: According to the directions, you need to start the a/c on shore power(30 AMP cord on trailer plunged into electric service), 5 to six times letting the a/c unit set for about 10 to 15 minuets between starts. Do not start with the generator or batteries. The unit needs to learn on true a/c power. Hope this helps and that is how I set mine up for the first time. Our power source is a Yamaha EF2400iSHC invertor. Prior to this install the Yamaha would occasionally trip its circuit in extreme heat. The EasyStart solved tripping problems by improving AC starts. The Yamaha easily powers the AC at over 7,000’ elevation, has improved fuel economy and reduced noise. The install was fairly easy however the brain box barely fits into the space within the Coleman-Mach 3+.
