AUTO VOX Wireless Backup Camera Solar Magnetic, 7.2" DVR 1080P Monitor

I purchased this product about a year ago for my RV to use as a rearview mirror. Installation was quick and easy, and the image quality was excellent. I configured the camera to Always On, allowing it to function continuously as a rearview mirror, which was exactly what I needed. I enjoyed using it so much that I couldn't imagine driving my RV safely and comfortably without it. Unfortunately, the camera stopped charging last week. I contacted the customer service team by email to explain the problem and ask about getting a replacement. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, since many companies tend to assume the problem is due to customer misuse. To my surprise, the support team responded promptly with a few troubleshooting steps and assured me that if they didn't resolve the issue, they would send a replacement camera. After I confirmed that the troubleshooting had not worked and provided my shipping address, they replied again almost immediately—even considering the time zone difference—to let me know that the replacement had already been arranged. Less than three days later, the new camera arrived, and my Auto-Vox system was up and running again. The product itself has been excellent, but what impressed me even more was the outstanding customer service. It's rare to receive support that is this responsive and hassle-free. I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this product and feel confident that the company stands behind what it sells.

Edit: company reached out and has replaced camera, actually recommended another camer they have and provided it. Customer service was great. Camera works great. I received this a couple months ago and finally was able to use it this week. Was very easy to set up. No difficulty with it connecting and trialed it around home for few days to see how it reconnected, very satisfied on how going a few days with no activity and it still would connect without issues. Solar charge worked well. Headed out at 2am for a 700 mile trip and continued to love the ease of use. THEN less than 100 miles down the road the camera decided it had enough and left the metal rail took a ride down the highway at 60 mph too never be seen again. Cannot give any comments on longevity as the magnetic securement is not secure at all. It seems to be a good system but plan on screwing, permanently attaching it if you want to keep it. Loved the idea of having a camera that could be easily removed for thos times not in use but this does not seem to be the one as it removed itself with easy driving.

This camera system is very clear and easy to install. Wireless connectivity is seamless with no issues and seems to hold a charge very well. Other than the initial charge I have not charged it yet and it's been over 6 months. I've even put it inside a cargo trailer to watch a load while transporting and it worked great. Overall it's a very solid product. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because when you mount it low for backing up to trailers it doesn't have a real wide view so you can't see trailer tounge until you are really close to it or you won't have hitch in view.

We got this camera with the intent of using it for backing up since our factory camera stopped working. As it turns out after using it on several trips, we use it for general rear view and partial blind spot monitoring! We run it the entire trip ( set it so it does not time out ). It has been a game changer for us! This camera has an incredible view range ( better than the factory one on our Jayco BY FAR). We do not use the SIM card to record; we just use it for visibility support. Very well made. Although Solar power charging is good, for best results and on long journeys, plug it in overnight to USB. It has a powerful magnet, and we adhere it to our rear bumper ( sewer line storage) and for extra security we also added a "strap" support using heavy duty zip ties ( wish I had invented zip ties!). We are really happy and just wish we had done this sooner... better driving experience with it!! We have a Jayco drivable 30'

Out of the box I really liked the potential of this camera. It seemed well designed and the image quality was good. Unfortunately I received TWO units (original and a replacement) that had the same design flaw: the USB C charging port on the camera. The size of the port is too large and USB C plugs will not securely make electrical contact with the port on the camera. This makes it impossible to charge the camera with a USB C. It greatly surprises me that no one else mentioned this in their Amazon review so perhaps I just got two bad cameras? At any rate, unfortunately, after the second bad unit I had to request a refund and purchase a camera system from a different manufacturer.

So I bought this backup camera because my truck and my camper do not have backup cameras . I saw all the great reviews on it and I figured give it a try I picked it up on Black Friday for a sweet deal. Call me and pressed. The video quality is crystal clear . You can record if you have a micro SD card which it came with. I really like that you can adjust the time on how long your camera stays on before it shuts off. I got this specifically to backup my camper when I go camping but it's really nice when you don't have somebody there to help you connect to your camper. You line up the camera and tilt the camera down just right you can get connected to your camper on your first attempt. That right there pays for the whole camera setup. But I leave it on the truck when I'm not using the camper and then when I'm ready to back up the camper i just jump out and stick it to the bumper and I've never had any issues it connecting and I have a 29 ft camper. I picked up this part-time delivery job that i drive a box van truck and they're backup camera is all fogged up and you can't make anything out . So I bring it to work when I'm not using my pickup truck and use it everyday for work. For those that are thinking about it I highly recommend it. Plug it in and stick it to the back of your vehicle or camper and it automatically connects. Now this don't turn on when you put it in reverse you have to press the button that plugs into your cigarette lighter. I do like the fact that I can connect another camera and monitor both cameras at once . I'll probably grab another camera soon.

The USB C charging cable that comes with the camera does not work because the end of the cable is too short to plug into the camera correctly. Exchanged the product because after trying two different cables I thought the camera plug was somehow pushed in. When I got the new camera I found the same issue. Then I searched around in my pile of cables and found one cable that had just a little longer plug and in connected properly. Besides that took the camera on a 1200 mile trip and it was awesome. I have it mounted inside my RV looking out the back window so I prefer to charge it with a cable and now I found a different cable it should be fine. Had no idea USB C cables had different plug lengths.

Achetée pour manœuvrer ma remorque derrière mon camping car, j'ai installé cette caméra en quelques minutes seulement. Installation hyper simple. Résultats bluffants, très bon rendu des couleurs de jour comme de nuit, utilisation des menus simples, que du bonheur. très bon achat.

Very easy to setup and run, great image with no lag. The only downside I have found is the obvious risk of leaving the camera unattended on the vehicle, its quite big and can be easily seen which means it could very easily be stolen.

Alle Zubehörteile waren enthalten, auch die verschiedenen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten der Kamera am Heck meines Wohnmobilswaren gegeben. Da mein Wohnmobil eine Aluminium Haut hat, habe ich die Metallplatte aufgeklebt und drei Tage ohne Benutzung kleben lassen um ihr die Möglichkeit zu geben, fest zu kleben. Nach drei Tagen habe ich die Kamera, die ich vorher über USB einmal komplett voll geladen habe, angebracht. Dank der starken Magneten hebt aus meiner Sicht die Kamera fest. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass die Kamera auch während der Fahrt durch den Magneten stabil gehalten wird. Auch das anbringen des Monitors in der Nähe des Armaturenbrett war dank des Klebe-Halters einfach. Auch diesen habe ich drei Tage lang ohne Last kleben lassen, um eine gute Verbindung zum Armaturenbrett zu schaffen. Die Kamera einmal einschalten den Monitor hochfahren, und schon sind die beiden miteinander verbunden. Das Pairing hat der Vorlagen funktioniert. Das Bild ist gestochen, scharf, siehe Foto. Auch die Einstellmöglichkeiten am Monitor sind leicht und intuitiv. Ich bin mit der Kamera sehr zufrieden

Fijnste en beste achteruit rij systeem wat ik ooit gehad heb. Hierdoor heb ik heel veel ellende bij achteruit rijden en parkeren kunnen voorkomen en ook is het fijn om tijdens het rijden te zien wat er achter je camper gebeurd
