I've been using the MOVE SPEED 128GB Solid State Drive, and I’m genuinely impressed! The blazing-fast 560MB/s read speed is a game-changer, especially when I’m dealing with large 4K video files—no more waiting around. The dual-port beast mode is super handy; I love just plugging in either the USB3.2 or Type-C side without having to think twice. The compact design makes it perfect for tossing in my bag and taking along on travels. Not only does it look sleek with its zinc alloy armor, but it's also tough and drop-proof—truly feels like a cyberpunk gadget. Setting it up with my phone was a breeze, making data transfers ridiculously easy. It’s also been a reliable backup device for my work files. Overall, it's a solid, high-quality SSD that I’d recommend to anyone looking for speed and durability in a portable drive.

First off, the build quality is excellent and I do mean excellent, this thing feels like it would survive the apocalypse. It’s got a full metal casing that feels premium and durable compared to the usual plastic drives. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap at all. That said, the weight of this thing is no joke. It’s heavier than any other USB I’ve owned, and that becomes an issue when using the USB-C port. Because of the weight pulling down on the connector, the drive tends to bend while it’s plugged in. In fact, I already had one of these break on the USB-C side because of that exact problem. Pretty disappointing considering how well-made the rest of it feels. However, I was able to reach out to the company and they definitely took care of me. So that is definitely worth the 5 stars. On the other hand, the USB-A side works much better. No bending or strain there, so if you’re mostly using it with older ports or through an adapter, you won’t run into the same risk. I use a new MacBook which only has USB-C ports so that's kind of annoying that I have to also buy an adapter because I'm not confident in using the USB-C side anymore after the first one broke. Performance-wise, the speeds are solid. I’m getting close to the advertised 560MB/s read speeds, and transfers are smooth whether I’m moving large video files or just everyday docs. I have not had any data loss with this device. I've been able to move, export, re-format, etc and have not had a single issue. I have tried it with Windows, Mac, and Linux and it is compatible on the computer side, the only phone I have tried it with is iPhone and it works amazingly. Overall: amazing construction, slick dual-port design, and fast performance with no data loss, but the weight + USB-C fragility is a real concern. If you’re careful with how you use it (or mainly stick to the USB-A side), it’s a great drive and I'm certain you will get many, many years out of it but if you plan on relying heavily on the USB-C port, just know the design isn’t as friendly for long-term durability.

While I do not think the design is flashy, it feels practical and well made. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable portable drive.

The MoveSpeed works great to transfer photos & videos from your phone to your computer. The MoveSpeed has USB-C on one end and the other end is USB-A (the original USB), the USB-C connects to my iPhone no problem. Both ends can be hidden (retracted into the closure) for travel and each end is retractable. The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars (wish 1/2 stars were an option, bc I would make it 4.5 stars) is that if you aren’t careful pushing it all the way into your phone it may come loose. But I would definitely recommend this product, it makes life a lot easier for moving or sharing data. The fact that you have 1TB of storage in the size of a thumb drive for that price is pretty awesome.

I'm typically used to the thumb drives that most of us used in school so when I got this SSD USB, it exceeded all of my expectations. It's an incredible upgrade for the old thumb drives because it's really fast in upload and download speeds and the storage capacity feel so vast. I have three different computers and it took me about less than an hour to consolidate about 116 GB into it which is wild to me. I'll be using this primarily for my macbook for storage transfer. If you are looking for a SSD that looks like a thumb drive, is compact enough to take on the go, works and transfer really fast and is way sturdier than typical thumb drives, HIGHLY recommend giving this a shot. I'll likely buy a 1 or 2TB one next. The dual USB C and USB A ports makes transfer so much easier without needing any extra adapters or cords. No need to download any extra software to use the SSD either.
