HyperX Cloud - Official PlayStation Licensed Gaming Headset for PS4 and PS5 with In-Line Audio Control, Detachable Noise Cancelling Microphone, Comfortable Memory Foam - Black

I got these after returning a different brand that had poor sound quality. Right out of the box these look like they are built good. Like most headphones they are adjustable for size. Since I have a fairly large melon, I adjusted them to the maximum size. They are just the tiniest but tight on my noggin, but not uncomfortable. I bought these for my PS4 but since I had just opened them and wanted to try them right away I plugged them into my phone. I fired up Spotify and skipped through the first couple of suggested songs until I landed on Willie Nelson's On The Road Again. I am not a country fan by any means but I stopped on it because of how it started out with just a simple guitar and drums. As I listened, I felt like I was transported into that studio as the song was being recorded. So crisp and clear. Now for the sound quality on the PS4. I have to admit that I do not plug these directly into the controller, but into and adaptor that comes with the Sony Silver headphones. I have had at least 3 sets of the silver headphones as they keep breaking. That is why I went with the HyperX this time. Volume on these are more than sufficient. Chat mixed in with game audio is very clear. The HyperX comes with a noise canceling mic which is great. My wife and I play together but in separate rooms. I sit in a leather recliner and after a left cheek sneak I asked her if she heard that. She did not know what I was asking about, so it passed the background noise test! I've only had these a week but am extremely happy with them. If anything changes I will update my review.

I was a bit surprised at some of the negative reviews. These sound great out of the PS5 controller. They are solid build, lite weight, and look great. Volume is not an issue. The inline volume is really more a balance between the chat volume and game music/sound effects. Complaints about them not going up to a loud enough volume, I don't get. Make sure you go into settings, adjust that volume, touch the 3D audio settings to make sure you like the output, but so far, these are a great set of headphones! Noise cancelation is a 3 star, because these don't actually have a setting for this.

Update: I purchased this on 06.08.19, roughly a year ago and these things were phenomenal to use. The sound is great, especially the base and the surround sound. The noise-cancelling feature of this headset is amazing (has actually got me in trouble with my parents because I’d yell too loud). Comfortability is there. I wear glasses so usually headsets would squeeze against my ears but this one held up great. The mic is clear as well. I’m giving it 4 stars because recently the mic has deteriorated(?). My friends would tell me I would sound very distant even though the the mic would be right up against my lips. There’s also a bit of an echo coming from my friends whenever I save a clip of games with their voices in it. Perhaps this has happened to others too, but I haven’t found an answer on how to fix it. All in all, great headset. Definitely worth the buy if you have the extra money!

This headset is the only headset that I’ve bought cause all my others (gifted) broke from the wires/connection. This headset has great wire quality and protection, colors, audio, mic quality and durability. The only bad thing (which is very very minor, and Ik only stating because I’m picky like that) is that the rubber/plastic paint is coming off where the PS logo is. Don’t worry though because it’s most likely cause I set them down on my table a lot

Works pretty good for the price. Ear cups have a very cheap plastic feeling cover on them. Top headband feels like it will break sooner then later . Headset is comfortable. Sound OK when connected to controller but I bought an extension and run them to my TV. Sounds better that way. Mic works but is kind or short and large so I don't like it. I use a separate microphone which sounds better anyways. Good for the price and nice as a first time or an emergency headset, but I would save up for a better headset.

Ive owned this headset for awhile now and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality. the sound quality is amazing as well as mic quality, can hear footsteps on FPS before they hear me and its super accurate. I used them for about 6 months on my PS4 before I made the switch to PC Gaming. though they're advertised for PS4 they can work for PC if you adjust some settings and if the case has a universal jack for mic and headphones. only issue Ive had is having to play with the settings on PC to get the same output as I did on ps4. Would definitely recommend this headset for the casual/professional gamer alike.

I almost considered downgrading this to a 4 star but couldn't do it. It's not the fault of Hyper X that there is only so much power that you can pull from a 3.5mm headset input on a dualshock controller. For this price you will have a hard time finding a headset that delivers the clean sound that this does. While the microphone isn't the best I've heard it is very good. The aluminum headband construction makes this nearly indestructible and the padding on top is more than sufficient. The ear cups are comfortable but can get a bit warm but not nearly as heat trapping as some others I've tried. Hyper X always seems to deliver and this is no exception. I have a wireless headset for when I need more power behind the sound but for every day gaming this is another in a long line of quality products from Hyper X. Almost every gamer needs a wired headset even if it is a backup to a more powerful wireless set and this is the best you are going to get for the money.

pelo preco tem que ser ótimo, depois que ele alarga fica bem confortável, no começo dói um pouco a cabeça, mas o som é bom, o microfone não é dos melhores, mas é totalmente aceitável sem estourar ou atrapalhar quem estiver com você, recomendo a compra pra quem busca um fone de qualidade e com um preço medio pros fones atualmente, que estão cada vez mais e mais caros no Brasil.

Great quality audio and mic. Love that you can take the mic off if you don't want to talk or use it. I use these for playstation and PC

This is by far the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever used. It's a shame that the cable is non detachable so in the event it goes bad, you have to send it to a store to resolder the loose connection instead of simply buying a new cable. Speaking of the cable, I personally dislike the thick braided cable as it is heavy and keeps getting in the way and knocking my left hand (plus its textured and abrasive so it causes slight discomfort) when I am using a controller for games. The volume rocker on the cable is placed on an inconvenient spot and it tends to keep knocking on my arms and my table which is a nuisance. These seems to be made as cheaply as possible as on the set that I received, there is a defect on my ride headband adjuster. It's WAY looser than the one on the left which causes me to constantly readjust the height because during gameplay it will frequently fall down a notch or two since it's so loose which is EXTREMELY annoying! With regards to the sound, I did a ton of research before deciding on which pair of headphones to buy. From what I understood, it is essential a Cloud II headset without the surround sound usb dongle. It also has a lower impedance than the Cloud II so in theory you will be able to use these and get a good level of loudness on devices with weaker output such as the dualshock 4. Written reviews and discussion threads seem to suggest that it had strong bass. However, I found this not to be the case as I thought the sound signature was very flat and balanced. Bass is present but not strong. The sound is great overall for this price and it performs admirably when playing games, but when used for music, vocals sound artificial and hollow. Overall, it's a great pair of headphones with amazing comfort and sound at a fair price point. However, I have to deduct a star because of the loose headband slider on the right side.

Muy cómodas sus almohadillas, pero después de un rato quizá sudas un poco, aún así son estupendos y Muuuuy cómodos. Son algo ajustados y apretados para una persona cabezona como yo, pero aún así se logran expandir lo suficiente, no hay problema. El micrófono está excelente y sirve mucho para video conferencias, grabar videos, y para jugar en línea, el audio es excelente de igual manera. Me llegaron en tiempo y forma, muy bien empaquetados y el cable se protege mucho por qué está cubierto como de una tela gruesa. En si los considero excelentes, muy cómodos, de gran gran gran calidad de audio. Si tienes ps4 y buscas unos audífonos preferiblemente de la marca Hyper X para jugar video juegos, no dudes de estos. Cómpralos, valen completamente la pena. Solo avisa a tus padres que realizaras una compra algo cara jaja.
