Thriller is the sixth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released by Epic Records on November 30, 1982, as the follow-up to Jackson's critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off The Wall. Thriller res similar genres to those of the Wall, including pop, post. disco, rock and funk. Recording sessions took place on April to November 1982 at Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles with a production budget of $750, 000, assisted by producer Quincy Jones. Seven singles were released from the album, all of which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. In just over a Thriller becam e-and currently remains-the best-selling album of all time, with estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide. It has become the first album ever to be certified 32 times multi-platinum for U.S. sales, marking more than 32 million sales shipped. The album won a record-eight Grammy Awards in 1984, including Album of the Year. 初めてレコード再生しCDの音質よりなんかレコードは温かい音何より生音でした。いい音スピーカーは、デカいほがいい音です小さいスピーカーより再生されるといいと思いました。

Thriller by Michael Jackson is as iconic as it gets. Growing up in the 80s, this album was absolutely everywhere. It felt like the biggest record in the world at the time, and spinning it now instantly brings back memories of being in grade school. The songs are timeless, instantly recognizable, and still incredibly fun to listen to. Tracks like “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” and “Thriller” haven’t lost any of their impact. The production is polished, the performances are legendary, and the album flows effortlessly from start to finish. This pressing sounds great. It’s clean, dynamic, and full of energy, making it easy to enjoy the album. A true classic and an essential record. Whether you grew up with it or are discovering it later, this album belongs in any vinyl collection.
