I've done kids face painting on and off for years, and I always try and splurge on water-activated paints because of the longevity, cleanliness, and vibrancy. I'll admit I wasn't optimistic about this set, but I was very pleasantly surprised! My baby-cousins summer party was the perfect trial-by-fire since there were kids of all ages with a full range of skintones, and this paint showed up fairly vibrantly on them all! I did have to start with the white as a base for some colors to really pop, but since it's the biggest color in the set, I had no issues.
