is there a size chart, or can anyone tell me what size for 8inches from base hand/wrist to tip of middle/longest finger?

Based on your past sizes, golf glove, or try a size on in the local hardware, or auto parts store has similar gloves. But I like the way ironclad makes their gloves. I'm sure they have a size chart, and customer service on their website .

No the gloves would not be good for using in a cooler. Hands would get cold. the gloves fit tight and are good for picking things up
