小生は、普通の店舗で売られている作業用手袋のLLサイズでは全く着用 できない大柄な掌です。 なので、主たる理由は、何よりも大きい手袋を探し求めてです。 Ironclad社のWebサイトにはサイズチャートが公開されており、小生の掌は US規格でのLargeに該当するらしい。日本規格で言えば、3Lか4L相当なのかな？ 作業用手袋1双に2500円を超過する費用を掛けるのは色々ためらいもありましたが、 届いた商品を見てガッチリとした縫製や、細かいところの造り込みに納得できました。 本国での定価が$24.99なので、購入価格が取り立てて高いワケでもありませんですが。 造り込みは、手のひら側の補強材の縫い目はミシンを二重に掛けてあったりしてます。 作業には未だ供していませんが、簡単にはほつれたりしないであろう事が想定 できます。

I have had two pairs of these gloves. These are the best work gloves I have ever owned. Have built a playhouse, retaining wall & very long fence to border property and still no holes in fingers! Best on the market.
