Review: Super Happy - This product looks perfect. I bought the two pack of Prepared Hero fire blankets. One for my home and one for a gift. I can’t try it out as it is a safety item, but it looks like it will do the job. I bought the two pack of hooks as well as it looked sturdy enough to hold the package, which it is, and be strong enough to yank the tabs hard in an emergency to pull the blanket out of the packaging. I didn’t want to DIY a hook and have the release slowed down by a poorly sticking hook when needed. Great decision. Don’t compromise, get the hook(s) also. The blanket will be where you need it when you need it, and will be able to be pulled out in a split second.

**Q: will fiberglass particles get all over the kitchen when i use this?**
A: Yes it will absolutely get fiberglass every where. I bought one and opened to refold it since the pull tabs were in the wrong position.  Thousands of fiberglass filaments got on my shirt, skin, floor. It was a mess. It took 3 washes and dries for my clothes to be rid of the filaments. And cleanup took a while since the filaments floated all over.

**Q: Is it an only one time use?**
A: Hi! Thanks for reaching out! 

So long as the fire blanket isn't damaged, it can be reused. There can't be any holes or damaged materials. If it's just soot then it can be wiped off and reused.

**Q: Can you use these on an electric stove?**
A: The Hero Fire spray is a good choice for extinguishing small fires, such as grease or kitchen fires. Unfortunately, it cannot be used on electrical fires.

**Q: I've read  similar product has fiberglass chards that poke your skin and hard to remove from clothing.  Is this the same issue?**
A: Prepared Hero…I just gave one to my mother-in-law and took it out to show her how to use it. It was VERY prickly! I had to wash my hands several times and I still feel the fiberglass in my fingers! How disappointing!

This product looks perfect. I bought the two pack of Prepared Hero fire blankets. One for my home and one for a gift. I can’t try it out as it is a safety item, but it looks like it will do the job. I bought the two pack of hooks as well as it looked sturdy enough to hold the package, which it is, and be strong enough to yank the tabs hard in an emergency to pull the blanket out of the packaging.
