This is the only one so far that has not torn immediately. My daughter is not even that rough with her backpacks. I’ve seen kids throw theirs on the floor, step on them etc. she’s pretty careful and other bags still tore because of the weight of the items inside. This one has remained in tact. The plastic has cracked slightly on a couple folds, but I feel like that is to be expected given the material it's made of. My son set this down next to a hot radiator at school and it surprisingly didn't deform or damage it whatsoever (though it was VERY hot, according to him) I wouldn't recommend doing that, of course, but it speaks for its durability at least.
