I’m extremely happy with the Yes4All 40 lb Adjustable Dumbbell Set. The quality is excellent, and the solid cast iron plates feel very durable and well-made. Everything arrived well packaged and was easy to put together, so I was able to start using them right away. The adjustable design is one of my favorite features because it lets me quickly change the weight depending on the exercise or workout intensity. It’s perfect for switching between lighter exercises like curls and heavier ones like rows or presses without needing multiple dumbbells. Pretty solid starter dumbbell set for beginners. If the price were higher I might give it 4 stars but it's SO CHEAP that I can definitely overlook some imperfection. If you are just starting out, this is a well-built set that comes with enough weight to keep you busy, and since it uses standard 1-inch plates, it's very cheap to add more weight in the future. In fact, I might buy an entire second set so I can always have multiple dumbbells/bars preconfigured before I start my workout. Having the bar attachment is a definitely a plus too. In normal use, it works really well. The following are my only "gripes": - The locking nuts on the sides seem to slowly loosen over time. This was never an issue when using it, but I noticed that if I roll.the dumbbells out of the way for a different exercise and then pick them up again, I need to make sure they are still tight. - When using it as a barbell, the bar CAN just be screwed into each dumbell with the weights already on, but then you may have some plates in the way of your arms. If you have a super wide built and hold the bar by the dumbell handles, it might be fine, but with an average build it seems just a bit wide. The barbell being narrower by a few inches would help, but if you have that problem, you need to basically remove the weights from the inside of the bar and put them all on the outside. That just makes the conversion take a bit more time but it's much more like a traditional barbell that way. This is not really a gripe, but more of a note. The weights are spot on, but the weights of the handles and barbell attachment are different. The handles are 4lbs each and the barbell attachment is 2lbs.

These dumbbells are a great addition to my home gym. The weight plates feel sturdy and the star lock collars keep everything secure once tightened. I like that I can easily adjust the weight for different exercises, which makes them super versatile without taking up much space. The handles have a nice grip, though they can get a bit rough on the hands if you don’t wear gloves. Also, swapping plates isn’t the fastest process, but that’s expected with this style. Overall, really good quality for the price and perfect if you’re short on space but still want a solid workout option.

I haven’t weighed them to see how accurate it is but everything came no missing pieces. (Update-Weighed them and the handle plus 2 10lb plates weight 24.6 lbs)Its really easy to change weights although it does take some time and I was worried about any odor that some reviews said but mine have no odor. Overall really good price for 135lb pair they haven’t seemed to chip or crack so really happy with them so far.

Exactly what you want when you order adjustable dumbbells. Feel sturdy, more than enough room for your hands, easy to organize and take weight off/on. Will not break whatsoever. Best value for price with adjustable dumbbells. The advice i would give purchasers is to have a small piece of gym mat where you can lay the weights down as if you just slam them on the floor they will break floor, they are steel and cast iron.

So far, since opening the package, I'm so surprised by the quality, like for real, the handles of dumbbells and barbells are SOLID metal and feel heavy. The Weight Plates themselves also feel like the real deal, cast iron or something. I used to use my brother's barbell, which was coated with rubber, and his rod was much thinner, so this was definitely an upgrade for me.

This is the best set of Dumbbells I’ve ever had I like the spin style collars on them I had a set before but I gave them away but it is weird that each dumbbell has two 5lb plates and 2 three pound ones I like that because when you go up in weight the 3lb plates are best for leveling up and then you can use them for swing bells or put all the weight on just one bar and the collar has rubber grommets to hold the spinners together

The metal quality of the weights is superb. However, I have two main complaints. The rods themselves feel very heavy compared to traditional dumbbells. Therefore, even in small increments, it feels like the weight increases too much. Next, at some point, 40 lbs may be too low. So I feel that the maximum weight they should offer should also include 60 and 80 lb versions. Just make the base 60 lbs and an upgradeable 80 lbs.

In stock purchased to delivered; it took around 3 weeks. I bought 2 sets of this but it's really 42lb plates + 42lbs plates. On one side of the handle, this can fit three 7.5lbs plates or four 3lbs plates. Because the width of the 7.5lbs plates is around 2.7cm and the 3lbs plates are around 2cm. And the width of the star lock collars is about 3cm. The weights are not perfectly accurate, it's off by a few grams or ounce. For the 7.5lbs plates, I get around 7.1lbs-7.3lbs and only one 7.6lbs. That's between the two sets I bought. And for the 3lbs plates, it's a little better ranging from 2.9lbs-3lbs. Handles and collars combined are around 4lbs. So as you guess, I'm a little disappointed in the 7.5lbs plates. Also, I received one collar with a defective custom screw that would not screw all the way in because it would get stuck, maybe the thread inserts are too small. I also noticed that the custom screw does not lock the collar indefinitely in place, it can still spin. But it does stop the wobbly collar from wobbling. About the weight plate surface, it is not perfectly molded. Bubble airs can still be seen. This means it is not a smooth clean rounded plate as compared to clear ice. The handles have diamond-shaped grips. It feels pretty sharp holding into the skin. It might be awhile getting used to it. Gym gloves are an option. But overall, it seems like a nice solid standard adjustable dumbbell set to work out with. And a nice price for this time of the year.
