Copper, supple, fine strands
Happy to discover it was copper and the strands are very fine. Supple wire, won't fatigue.

Good for high temperatures, very flexible.
Nice wire for my application (antenna and high frequency design). Has a high isolation voltage, waterproof, and takes high heat. Very flexible, easy to strip. Many wires, so good conductivity. Readably accepts solder.

Good Wire
Good Coating on the wire, easy to separate the red and black, easy to solder. Has worked well on the projects I use it for. Would recommend it.

They say 7.5 Amps - NO
High temp wire like this could be used in a engine compartment of a car, truck, etc. BUT, when you work out the REAL current handling capacity at 150F temps DO NOT go over 3 AMPS continuous. for a 8 ft length. LESS for a longer run. I bought this to run a direct fused line from my truck battery to the cab interior right next to the windshield. It is for a SOLAR battery maintainer panel sitting on the dash which outputs only .75 Amps and has a 3 AMP fuse inline AT THE BATTERY. I HAVE RETURNED this item. There is no such spec as "Bear Current". I asked the seller for the PARAMETERS of the test. Here is what we said: Question: For the seller: what is "bear current" ? what were the test conditions to arrive at your 7.5a value? Answer: we used temperature rise tester to test. By MTHNHO Seller on April 9, 2019 As you can see, their response did NOT answer the question at all. Folks, look it up. "Bear Current" is something they have apparently made up. There is NO such specification that I could find searching the net with multiple search engines. NOW, it has been returned. A Temperature Rise Meter test spec would be a function of rise over a set ambient temp. I went with AMERICAN MADE 14# GPT Primary wire instead. It appears Amazon doesn't carry well known brands like Belden. In fact, I'm DONE buying wire on Amazon. American Made ONLY for me.

Exceptional flexibility ("arctic cable").
Have used this for making up power cables for astrophotography rig. Flexibility when cold is important (especially in the Scottish Highlands), and for this use this cable excels, minimal drag even on telescope mount umbilical under constant flexure. Wish I'd known about this cable before, and will be buying again. The two conductors separate really easy, and it's worth putting a short section of heat shrink tubing just above any separation point if your cable is under tension or flexure to prevent any further inadvertent separation. A definite five-stars for this cable.
