For those of you who use this pool as a ball pit how many balls do you think I need to purchase?** A: As a matter of fact, I purchased this originally as a ball pit for my son. 200 balls fills it up about half way. 300 may be a little more than what you need, but it should fill it up near the top if you do. I didn't go higher than 200 because of the nature of what kids will do in it, displacement is inevitable. **Q: How many gallons of water does this hold?** A: about 45 gallons **Q: Could an 8 month old climb over the side?** A: Possibly yes when filled with water they can easily just push down on the sides and possibly get over. It's just a simple small blow up pool. **Q: Is there a plug on the floor of the pool for easy drainage of water?** A: No. There is not a bottom drain plug. The bottom is only a thin layer of vinyl.
