What I loved most is how smooth and gentle the flavor is. It’s ideal for people who enjoy a traditional mate but don’t want something overwhelmingly strong. It has a natural sweetness and a light body that makes it easy to drink all day without feeling heavy or harsh on the stomach.

I'm hardly a Yerba Mate veteran or expert (nor from South America), but I've watched "Yerba Mate Lab" videos on youtube and got hooked on the idea of making this drink the traditional way. Playadito has the smoothest and most gentle flavor of all of the yerbas I've tried so far, although because of the style of yerba it is (Argentina style, I believe), it's more coarse-cut than you might be looking for. That's not a fault of this brand, it's just how that style is made. Try Canarias if you want a finer-cut yerba, but it's stronger, too.
