Kast King does their best at keeping prices low with a competitive product and this rod falls into that category. Stands up with the big nasme rods on the market and works just as well if not better. My choice of Rods.

Got this torrent setup to replace an ugly stick and a sigma that I had been fishing with for the last 17 years. My old cheap setup finally wore out and for $80 I got a rod and a reel to be my new travel setup. I have some expensive stuff I use on the boat and to be honest they aren't that much better than this setup. Not sure how it will last but it has great feel, super sensitive and a nice light feel. I might buy another one it is so nice. May try the spinning rod next. I have a gx2 as my cheap spinning rod and I like the piscifun baitcaster way better than the ugly sticks.
