Highly recommend for anyone who wants to live a truly fulfilled and abundant life! Review: A ton of life wisdom packed into one book... - If you have already invested time and energy in making your life better, and making yourself better, for any length of time, you will recognize a lot of what's in this book. I wouldn't say I found much in the way of new material I hadn't heard of before, BUT... what a great resource to have so much information in one place! I like Sahil's style, and enjoy his newsletters because they are short, full of information, and well-written. As an engineer, I appreciate the way the book is organized. This allows you to concentrate on areas that you want to work on. Also, I appreciate that Sahil gives lots of options for ways to build wealth in a particular area, not that someone will do ALL of them, but that you will find a few that resonate with you and will be effective for you. In the later years of life myself, I enjoyed the reading, and the examples from Sahil's life. There were good reminders for me contained within the pages. I bought copies for each of my sons, as I think there is a ton of life wisdom packed into this book.

A Must-Read for Personal Transformatio
I've been following Sahil Bloom's work through his newsletter for years, and his book, The 5 Types of Wealth, exceeded my expectations. It redefines wealth beyond money, covering Time, Social, Mental, Physical, and Financial dimensions. Each chapter is packed with practical strategies, like time management tips that I've already started using to prioritize better. The focus on Social Wealth, with advice on building deeper relationships, really resonated with me. The included quiz to assess my current wealth levels was a bonus, helping me identify areas for growth. In the Time Wealth chapter, there's a memorable graph that shows how most people allocate their time to activities that don't bring them joy or fulfillment. This visual really drove home the point for me that I need to be more intentional about how I spend my time. The book also introduces the concept of 'anti-goals,' which are things you want to avoid or stop doing. This was a new idea for me, and I found it helpful in setting boundaries and saying no to things that don't align with my values. What I love about this book is its practicality. Each chapter includes action steps and a quiz to assess your current level of wealth in that area. This makes it easy to turn the ideas into real-world actions and track your progress. Sahil's writing is engaging and relatable, blending personal stories with research and data. The book is well-organized, with each chapter building on the previous one, creating a cohesive and comprehensive guide. 'The 5 Types of Wealth' has been a game-changer for me. It has helped me redefine what success means and has given me the tools to lead a more balanced and fulfilling life. I can't recommend it enough to anyone who wants to make positive changes and achieve their dream life.

The Best Gift To My Children
5 Types of Wealth is one of the most insightful and transformative books I have ever read. I only wish I had it 10 or 20 years ago, as its wisdom would have shaped many of my life decisions for the better. But what excites me even more is that my two teenage daughters will have access to these lessons at a stage in their lives where it can truly shape their futures. What makes this book exceptional is its holistic approach to wealth. Unlike traditional finance or self-help books that focus solely on monetary success, it expands the definition of wealth into five critical dimensions: financial, social, physical, mental, and time wealth - each playing a crucial role in living a truly rich life. It challenges the common pursuit of money at the expense of everything else and instead offers a framework for building a truly fulfilling life. One of the most impactful takeaways is the emphasis on time wealth—the ability to control how you spend your time rather than being trapped in the relentless pursuit of more money. The book makes a compelling case that accumulating financial wealth without securing time wealth often leads to imbalance and regret. Similarly, it highlights the compounding effect of non-financial wealth, such as the way strong relationships, continuous learning, and physical well-being create long-term advantages in ways that money alone never could. Beyond being thought-provoking, this book is extremely practical. It provides a practical roadmap for balancing the different types of wealth, while ensuring that success in one area doesn’t come at the cost of another. It’s a must-read for anyone seeking long-term fulfillment, and I’m especially grateful that my daughters will have this wisdom as they navigate their own paths.

Comprehensive blueprint for a truly rich life
As an ardent follower of Sahil Bloom's weekly newsletters, I approached his debut book with high expectations, and "The 5 Types of Wealth" not only met but exceeded them, emerging as the most impactful self-help book I've encountered in recent years. While longtime readers of Bloom's newsletters might recognize some concepts, seeing them woven together into a cohesive framework offers a fresh and transformative perspective on what it truly means to live a wealthy life. At the heart of Bloom's philosophy lies the critical premise: financial wealth, while important, should not be the dominant measure of a rich life. Your wealthy life may be enabled by money, but in the end, it will be defined by everything else. As he says, "Your wealthy life may be enabled by money, but in the end, it will be defined by everything else." Through meticulous research spanning three years and countless interviews, Bloom presents four other equally crucial forms of wealth: Time, Social, Mental, and Physical. What particularly resonates is his practical approach, breaking down each wealth type into three pillars and providing a 25-question assessment tool that helps readers establish their baseline. The book's true strength lies in its actionability. Each section concludes with concrete strategies for improvement, making abstract concepts tangible and implementable. Bloom's relationship map and energy matrix stand out for me as particularly valuable tools that I'm eager to incorporate into my own life. His systems for time wealth management are already proving their worth in my daily routine. Perhaps the most powerful aspect of the book is captured in the interviews Bloom conducted, where notably, "No one mentioned money" when discussing their version of a wealthy life. This observation is perfectly encapsulated in one of the book's most memorable quotes: "The only thing that matters at all is the quality of the relationships with the people we love." This is particularly refreshing in today's money-obsessed culture. "The 5 Types of Wealth" is more than just another self-help book; it's a comprehensive blueprint for living a truly rich life. Whether you're starting your career, navigating midlife, or planning for retirement, Bloom's insights and practical strategies offer valuable guidance for creating a more balanced and fulfilling existence.

Starts Great, Degenerates Fast
The book’s intro promises a profound, big picture look at the 5 kinds of wealth. I was setting myself up to some deep reading and wisdom-filled details, in the spirit of the first chapter. But then the book falls off a cliff and degenerates into a collection of self-help listicles, grossly shoehorned into a rigid formulaic structure. The second part of the book feels more like an outline than a properly fleshed out exploration of these otherwise very insightful ideas

Change your view on what wealth really means
I love this book. I originally listened to it on Audible, but found myself wanting to remember and make notes because there were so many great life lessons. I ended up buying this paper version of the book so that I could put little post it on pages and use my highlighter. This book would make for a great graduation gift because I really wish I would’ve had it when I was in my late teens early 20s. So many clearly explained life hacks that are just simple and easy to do but so valuable.

A potentially life-transforming masterpiece, highly recommended
Sahil Bloom skillfully distilled and beautifully blended time-proven learnings, and perspectives, and tools, at their core all self-evident, from high-value sources, spanning hundreds of books (including ancient wisdom, modern classics, historical biographies, religious texts, legendary epics and tales), and hundreds of interviews (including Fortune 100-CEOs, professional athlets, life coaches, spiritual guides, factory workers, stay-at-home parents, digital nomads, some of the richest, the wisest, the oldest people), as well as the author‘s personal deep self-immersion into the human experience. Not only are we being convincingly reminded of the paramount importance of - time wealth - social wealth - mental wealth - physical wealth - financial wealth but also of the imperative to prioritize, maintain, and balance-out between these five types of wealth as we are journeying the different seasons of human life While that would suffice to qualify for a masterpiece, Sahil encores that with - simple und inspiring concepts, including a Life Razor, a True North Compass, Goals and Anti-Goals, High-Leverage Systems, and a Dimmer Switch - a mind-blowing and actionable toolbox with more than 45 instruments, including twelve proven systems for building time wealth, ten for social wealth, ten for mental wealth, six for physical wealth, and eight for financial wealth - a fascinating and eye-opening wealth score self assessment Many thanks to Sahil, with warm greetings from Berlin, Germany.
