Will the color become permanent if left on for too long?

Are the colors to dark ? Or to strong to see through the text ?

YES. the blue and purple are very dark and make the text almost illegible. The green is still readable but still unpleasantly dark.

do these wash out of clothes?

Hi there! The blue, pink, purple and green colored highlighters use an acidic pH ink. The yellow highlighter, however, uses a basic pH ink, and the eraser has an acidic pH formula. Hope this helps!
