Omg, how cute is this?? I got one made with a picture of my son because who doesn’t want a hand painted picture of their kid? I’m having a blast working on it. It’s the perfect size to hang, it’s super simple (it’s paint by numbers!) and I can’t wait for it to be done! I’m definitely going to be ordering more with different portraits and I’m going to gift some as well! These are so much fun and I’m so glad I found it! Came very quickly too for being custom! Thank you, love it!!

I had SO much fun with this!!! At first I was a little unsure because the colors were so dark and I was like no way is this going to turn out right.. AND THEN IT DID! I’ve already got another picture loaded and in my cart because I loved this so much. It’s so fun to get to design your own image, the kit has everything you need, and the paints are great! I also loved that they gave me extras on the colors I would be using the most so I didn’t have to worry about running out of anything. Honestly, this is so inexpensive compared to some others that I’ve looked at and the detail of the printing is phenomenal. If you’re going to get a custom one made, use this one! I didn’t get the framed one. To save money I just got the unframed kit since I have frames at home anyway, but it was still so amazing and such a great price regardless. I am in love with it. Jeff Goldblum and I get to hang out every day while I am working now. And he’s perfect.

I’ve gotten 4 of these and they’ve all been wonderful! My mom loves displaying them around the house, and I love making them! I find the color matching to be pretty accurate. So make sure you have the right color photo you’re sending in, anything shadowy won’t look as good and might even alter skin tones, and if you have any filters on the picture, it will translate to the paint colors. I usually bump the saturation or vibrance before submitting and I’m always happy with the result!

Well the idea was there but the paints supplied did not support the right color scheme for the art work. I did have to mix my own paints to get it right and I definitely strayed from their mapped out sections. It’s a good gift if you have an easy photo reference or don’t care too much about accuracy. It’s a fun challenge if you have the time and patience.

Cons: Apparently, an actual human doesn’t check the items before theyre shipped. The skin colors are all shades of pink- like Easter egg pinks. Cartoon characters at best; definitely not anywhere close to skin colors. Checked against the pic I sent- 90% of the colors are way off. Considering both canvases arrived late (not USPS fault) its too close to Christmas for me to do anything except trash them or try to match the colors myself. Canvases are VERY VERY thin & not good quality. When I steamed out the wrinkles (they ship them rolled) I was afraid it was going to tear. Most of the paints are a decent quality except for black. Its like painting with cheap liquid eyeliner. There are details that have no color at all. For ex, my Nan’s jewelry. So I will have to figure that out too. There are details on the canvas that are different from the photo- buttons missing, neckline of top completely different. They have me using purple & pumpkin orange for auburn hair. I could go on but you get the gist. I have ordered these in the past & did not have these issues (diff company). My brother & Nan passed this year & this was supposed to be family gifts. It would be disrespectful for me to gift these as is. Pro: If you need to waste your time & money, its perfect. If not- I recommend choosing a different company or doing it yourself.

This was better than I expected it to be for the price. It’s too hot to do anything outside so I decided I’ll kill time with a paint by numbers of my babies. It was very detailed and I was nervous about the colors but the end result was amazing.

I feel like I should start with how much I love the result of the painting. The reason I’ve only given three stars instead of fewer is due to that singular reason. The reason that I gave this item so few stars is the paint problems that I incurred. #1 there was not enough paint in the pots that came with the kit to fill in properly the colors that were most prominent in my picture. Before I had finished, I had ran out of seven colors. The pots themselves were not filled all the way when you open them they usually looked full, but had a huge air pocket in the middle meaning they were really only partially full. #2 when I reached out to the company, they resent the paint for my picture, but the main color that I was missing had even less paint then the first set, and now that I am done and trying to do two layers on the lighter colors, I don’t want to see the numbers or the lines that I was painting inside of in the final product, one of the lightest colored skin tones are already skimming the edges to complete this. #3 when I was already mostly completed with the image and I ran out of paint. My paint replacement was not expedited.
