I have previously purchased the cheaper plastic sprinkler units but they tend to break easily and are almost impossible to repair. This all metal sprinkler holds up against accidental drops. The sprinker head covers a wide range of yard and is adjustable, my coverage is over 40 feet radially from the sprinkler. The base is somewhat light weight and other shoppers have had problems with the sprinkler moving. I did not experience any problems with the sprinkler staying where it was placed in the grass. On a hard surface the sprinkler may move depending on your water pressure.
