As I mention in my video, these handles replaced some round ones that I installed and really didn't like because they were ergonomically painful to pull.These rectangular handles are very well designed, strong, and ideal if you need a recessed handle.TO INSTALL THEM I used a router to take out the material that the handle fits into. This was in 3/4" plywood and I removed about 1/2" of wood to fit these handles flush. Don't remove too much materials, though, or you won't have anything to screw into.These spring back nicely and lay flush.
