Nearly perfect, super pleased with performance and ease of use
Whats not to love about my new robotic friend? Its sleek, well made, works extremely well and makes household chores so much easier and less of a bother. I love the Eufy Clean app, its easy to map out your rooms and set a schedule, choose your options, etc. One thing that threw me for a bit is that its a separate app to control this unit, if you already have the Eufy app, that main one is mostly for security at least for now. If you want to add your robot vac, you have to install the Eufy clean app. I spent an hour trying to get the robot vac added to my devices in the Eufy main app before I realized it was not the same. The performance of the robot vac is extremely good, its able to clean my hard wood floors easily. The mop works wonders and leaves the floors looking brand new. Later this week I'll be expanding it to also vacuum my carpeted areas, so far I've just focused on the hard wood floors since we're having some construction done in those carpeted areas right now. I also installed some googly eyes for comedic effect and named it "M-O" from one of the robotic characters in the movie WALL-E. I've had the E28 for a few weeks now and really love it, the quality, the performance, the ease of use, the Eufy Clean app is great, etc. You really can't go wrong with this one, its pretty close to perfect for a floor cleaning robot.

A traditional broom and mop would be better.
Updated Review: Vacuum is still 1star, but Eufy customer support is 5stars. Class acts. They gave me three options: 1. Brand new vacuum, same model. 2. I return mine and pay the difference for their new improved model (which admittedly was very tempting at first but I just don’t have the time to go through this saga again if it were the same. While the Omni s1 pro was tempting, especially with the discount i went for option 3. The s1 pro is realistically what i should’ve purchased. It has a ton of positive reviews, 7.4k, at the moment. But i was tempted to buy this one because it had a massive sale. Now i know why. 3. Return unit and receive a refund. They refunded me no problem once they got the vacuum. 5stars for customer service. I would buy from them again. Original review: I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve reached out to Eufy with my complaints and will update if/when I hear back. I have been an Anker (parent company) customer for years with zero complaints. Their cables and batteries have been excellent. The two products I brought from Eufy though, this vacuum and a scale are total garbage. The scale gives widely different readings than our withings scale and the app connection is spotty. But this vacuum is the biggest piece of smart home crap I have ever used in my life. My biggest complaint is that it is just two months old and conveniently outside the return window and it no longer works. It worked well a handful of times and then one day I noticed it smelled horrible as it was scooting around my floors not picking anything. Vacuum appears fine so I take out the roller and clean it as the instructions say, reassembled once it was completely dry others later. Then I inspected the base station. It had dumped both clean and dirty water tanks onto my floor. I cleaned it up and unplugged it and inspected. Nothing obviously wrong. Little bits of dirt in the docking tray which I cleaned. Checked the dust bag on the base station and boom. Tons of water in it. I’ve spent more time maintaining this lack luster piece of crap than it would’ve taken me to just vacuum and mop my floors myself. I’ve never hated a vacuum before, but I hate this thing. Another issue is there have been times it couldn’t get back to its base station and it just died on the floor. I won’t buy anything from this brand again. I’ve already went ahead and purchased a Tineco S7 Ultra to replace. Don’t buy eufy. Buy Dyson instead. Or anything else. A broom would do a better job.

Truly Impressive – smart and effortless.
Honestly I'm pretty picky with tech products, I don’t usually write glowing reviews - but this robot vacuum really earned it. The cleaning performance is excellent. It’s powerful, has multiple cleaning modes, and works great in a home with pets. Ever since I started using this robot, I’ve actually packed away my Dyson. I honestly wish we had one in the office too! The size and noise level are totally reasonable compared to similar products. What really sets it apart is the software experience. The map generation is incredibly fast and accurate - it easily recognizes rooms and obstacles, and sets up zones perfectly. The app is intuitive, user-friendly, and the prompts are clear. It works flawlessly across both my phones, an Android foldable and an iPhone. I’ve tried other brands before, but none felt this smooth or well-integrated. Hardware setup is also straightforward. Most parts are basically plug-and-play. The only tricky bit was the tray — it needs to be “clicked in” rather than just placed. I had to try a few times, and the app kept telling me it wasn’t properly installed. I eventually figured it out, but it would be great if the app could include a little animation or more detailed instructions when that error pops up. One moment that truly surprised me was when the robot managed to escape from a tangle of wires. One of the wheels was completely wrapped up, and I thought it would be stuck for sure. But it figured it out and kept going — clearly, the navigation and escape algorithms are top-tier. Frankly speaking, this robot has exceeded my expectations in both hardware and software. It has truly improved my day-to-day life. Highly recommended, worth the price!

Best mop I’ve had- use mouthwash
This is by far the best robot vacuum system I’ve had (it’s my fourth: I had a Xiaomi, and 2 roborocks). The mop does so much better than traditional robot vacuum mops that just slide the gunk on your floor back-and-forth with a dirty rag-style mop head. It’s great at getting crumbs around the edges. It’s great at carpet and hardwood. I love that it has a water tank in the dock, so I only have to refill the water weekly instead of daily. It does a good job avoiding most obstacles. It will still pick up and jam on some small kid toy or baby socks, but previous vacuums I had would get stuck all the time, and this one only seems to get stuck maybe once every two weeks instead of near daily like my other ones. One of my only complaints is that the dirty water tank on the dock can start smelling really bad, (especially when it’s cleaning the mop or emptying the dust bin) but I suppose that’s not really the vacuum’s fault since that water is just gross. I put about a tablespoon of antiseptic mouthwash in the dirty water tank every time I clean it out in hopes that it will kill some of the bacteria that cause the heavy smells, and that seems to help a little bit (not fully). This machine does so well on its own that it can artificially give you the sense that you never have to check up on it, but I have learned that it does better if you follow the suggested maintenance schedule of cleaning all of the sensors and dock out regularly. I love that in the app it tells you when certain maintenance is due, and then also gives you pictures and videos on what exactly needs to be done. All in all, it’s great value for the money we spent for it. Especially since this has a detachable stain cleaner that has come in handy with our small kids, spilling things on couches and carpet. We even used it to clean out the seats in our minivan and it did a great job of getting stains out. I think we got this on a sale around 900 bucks, and for that price I would say it’s definitely worth it since I’ve spent more money on other brands’ vacuums in the past that didn’t do even close to as good job as this one. I don’t normally write reviews like this, but this baby has earned my respect in a dirty household of six.

Great buy, best cleaning and mop ive had
Skeptical at first about it being a new product and being able to seperate but so far I love this, it replaces my other vacuums and 100% mops better than anything ive had. Pros: The mopping is phenomenal, washing itself over and over leaving no streaks, even finding spots that need extra scrubbing VIA AI. Vacuuming runs great patterns, the extendable arm getting every crevice while it works. It's AI is amazing at recognizing objects, avoiding things and not getting caught up like my old vacuums. The spot cleaner is great! A bit heavy because if the water tank but to be expected, it cleans spots perfectly and we use it on our cars and couches! It's self clean option is great too at the end of a cleaning. The app is very detailed and intuitive, you can see live feed where the vaccume is, where its been and what its cleaned! The vaccume itself is very quiet! Cons: The empty/cleaning cycles at the base station are loud, as in stop your conversation from 30 feet loud. When electing it to just vaccume, it takes the time to go through a cleaning cycle for the mop, this can be skipped if I ask it to do a simple vacuuming. You have to change the options on each individual room, I wish you could select all rooms and then the options you choose would go to all selected for that one cleaning. The conpany also recognizes this is a new product, they have already sent out an upgraded dirty water tank (though mine has no issues) and multiple extra bottles of detergent for simple feedback on their app.

STAY AWAY
Too much maintenance, not a reliable or good product. Stay away The vacuum has a lot of problem. I’ve given it 6 months and I am not happy with the product. We are currently on our second vacuum because the first one we bought stopped working and was replaced. The base station had flooded and ruined the sensors on the robot making it not be able to know where to go in the house. The first one we received also came with an annoying problem. When we first received it there were issues along the lines of not being able to pump water from the portable deep cleaner to the robot. After contacting support they couldn’t figure it out and pretty much told me oh well, you can return it. I should have. Instead I took the bottom off the portable deep cleaner and noticed that there was a hose not attached, I reattached the hose and it fixed the issue. I should not need to do that with a brand new vacuum we just set up. Then the vacuum was leaking water badly, after speaking to Eufy again they said it was a known issue and resolved it by sending a new sewage tank. That took 2 months to get to us. After the first vacuum broke, the new vacuum we received has had a ton of issues. The new one keeps getting stuck on nothing, getting lost, stuck in the dock, and just stops out of no where. We also noticed it’s not cleaning nearly as well as the first vacuum. The biggest issue though is the SMELL. Every week you basically need to take the vacuum apart and clean it otherwise it absolutely reeks and spills dirty water all over the floor. It’s absolutely disgusting, and causes the entire house to smell. I cannot understate how bad the smell is, it smells like raw sewage. To clean it once a week it takes about an hour, which completely negates the time it would take me to vacuum and mop my floors…. The portable deep cleaner is good, but it’s wonky to carry around. The reason we bought it is because it has the portable deep cleaner. For a vacuum that costs 1500 (even though we bought it on sale) I completely expect a product that arrives working perfectly, nearly maintenance free, doesn’t make my house stink, and replaces chores to save me time. It negates the purpose if I spend more time cleaning the stupid thing than I would mopping. If Eufy can sort out those issues it could be a good produce. Don’t by it, the value isn’t there especially for a product that makes your house dirtier than it left it. Hopefully someone from Euft can contact me to resolve these issues. So far customer service hasn’t been great especially for a “premium” product. DO NOT BUY

Good robot, with some minor issues
It's been a few days now and I have enough information to write a review. First, this is nice. It does a great job at mopping, an okay job at vacuuming. It does a great job for the 90% but that last 10%, it just can't clean up. Even so, it vacuums daily, so it isn't terrible. A few things on setting it up: - You must have 2.5GHz. I know it says that it can handle a mixed network, but it can't for me for some reason. It looks like the vacuum just disappears and needs to be reset and that seemed to have stopped when I put it on its own network. - The instructions are pretty bad. Fortunately, assembly is clear, but it's essentially a single line that is easy to miss on where to put the mop solution. - The app is good. No real complaints. It segregated the rooms pretty well, but what we didn't realize is that it's best to take ALL removable furniture, dog bowls, chairs, etc and move them while mapping. We now have a dead spot that the vacuum won't touch. Easily fixed, but just annoying and completely our fault. The robot itself is pretty smart. It does a good job of cleaning up after itself. Battery life isn't terrible -- about 30 minutes of cleaning, which I suppose is pretty normal. It easily finds its way home. Overall, my wife is happy, so I also like it. Fortunately, any issues I have are correctable via software. I'd recommend it, but just know that it doesn't substitute for someone actually cleaning with a good vacuum.

A perfect addition to my home - keeps my rooms clean and my mood even better
This eufy robit omni is hands-down the best purchase I've made for my home this year. At first, I hesitated a bit on the price tag, but honestly, this thing delivers so much value for the money. It's not just a robot vacuum, it's a full-on cleaning system that takes care of vacuuming, mopping, self-emptying, and even drying the mop pads. Setup was super easy. The instructions walks you through everything, and you can customize cleaning schedules and zones however you want. The mapping is super smart—it navigates around furniture with no drama. My rugs, hardwood floors, and even corners are all looking spotless. The suction is powerful and the mop actually scrubs rather than just dragging a wet pad around. I’ve had zero issues with stability or errors. It docks reliably, cleans quietly, and never gets stuck. I also love how it auto-empties and washes itself, so I barely have to lift a finger. I’ve been using it daily for a while and my apartment feels like it’s been professionally cleaned every day. It’s honestly made me feel more relaxed and productive because my environment stays tidy with no effort on my part. If you want something that just works and saves you time, get this.

Excellent Robovac – Smart, Efficient, and Hassle-Free
I’ve been using the eufy E28 for over a month now and I’m really happy with it. Setup was super easy, and the app did a great job mapping out my space. I love that I can split rooms into custom areas and tailor cleaning zones to my needs. The roller mop works really well on both hardwood and tile floors. You can control how much water it uses, which makes it easy to create different schedules. I have one for the whole house once a week (standard water level) and another just for the kitchen with more water. That way, I don’t have to mop my hardwood floors multiple times a week. Maintenance is minimal. The mop cleans itself, so I only need to wash the filter weekly—takes about two minutes, plus drying time. I usually run it when I’m out, but even when I’m working from home, it’s quiet enough. Some people mention the self-emptying is loud—yes, it kicks in for about 5 seconds—but that’s it. You can set a Do Not Disturb period, so mine vacuums quietly at night and self-empties in the morning. When I installed the app, I got a free bottle of floor and carpet cleaner specifically made for this model. For those wondering: the soap reservoir is actually hidden under the portable carpet cleaner unit, which isn’t obvious at first. I haven’t used the carpet cleaner yet, so I can’t comment on that part. I’m so happy with the E28 that I’m now planning to get the E25 for our second floor. Highly recommend this model for anyone looking for a smart, low-maintenance cleaning companion.

Amazon tried to pass off a used and broken vacuum as new.
Amazon sent a used vacuum that did not function properly. After reaching customer service at Eufy, they were extremely helpful and sent a new vacuum immediately and it functions perfectly. I am very disappointed that Amazon would try to pass off a used, broken vacuum as new. This wasted many hours of my time trying to get the used one to work as well as the hassle of re-boxing it and shipping it. Thanks to Eufy for making things right. 5 stars for Eufy.

I tried to like it but just couldn't ...
I watched a lot of reviews and finally settled on this, especially because of the deep cleaning vacuum available. I also really love the roller mop but because it doesn't get close to the edge, it is ineffective to edges. But really was unfortunate is that it is really sensitive to furniture on the edge. It is especially sensitive to not getting close to cabinets, especially if your kitchen cabinets has an overhang like you usually do. Mine is 10cm high and the robot vac stays away from the edge and basically lives behind all dirt. It also for some reason doesn't extend the side brush at the corners, and even if it does, it's for a split second and moves on. Sad to say but I am going to have to return it. I was trying to upgrade from the Roborock S7 Max V Ultra.

Best vacuum I have bought
This has become the best cleaning companion ever! I love that it vacuums and mops saving me so much time. It mapped my house accurately and has great suction. My floors are always clean and I don’t have that much upkeep or maintenance as it cleans and dries itself. The fact that it comes apart and I can use it to clean the upholstery as well is such a game changer. No need for multiple items this does it all!

Base station is WAY TOO LOUD
I wanted to love this vacuum. It cleans corners VERY well. It doesn't eat my rugs and it is able to drop the back roller RIGHT after it leaves the rug perfectly on the floor. It drops the right amount of water and it cleans quietly. I have had no issues with the performance of the vacuum part. Two issues: There is no soap floor cleaner for this. I contacted Eufy support and they said to not use any third party cleaners as it could void the warranty. I asked what I should buy and they said only use Eufy floor cleaners. I asked for which one and they said they do not have a soap for this model yet. ok.. thanks for that.. The base station is SO loud when it empties that we cannot run this at night. I don't know if the e25 is going to have the same issue but as we work from home, our only real opportunity to use this is at night and it absolutely cannot be used at night. I think the app is well designed and i would keep this if the base station wasn't so loud and they actually released some soap for this thing, but unfortunately it has to go back.
