I took this waffle maker with me up to our cottage for our guests. Not only does it have a little bell to tell you when it is done, the waffles come off the griddle clean. Breakfast or dessert. Use your imagination. Our household is from ages 9 to 95. Everyone enjoys it. I have found the perfect setting is between 2 and 3. I use Krustez Belgian Waffle Mix and, instead of adding water, I add plain or any flavor SELTZER.(although water is OK too) Just plug in the iron, mix batter and the iron will be ready for you. Beeps when ready and beeps again when perfectly cooked. Perfect every time. Also, once seasoned, you don't need to use spray. Cleaning is almost not necessary and storage space is minimal. It's solved my Christmas 2010 shopping.
