CPAP Tubing Connector

Goal for any long-haul flight cpap set-up is reduce bulky clutter. One of the clutter items is the hose...you want a short hose for the plane, you need a longer hose for the hotel, but don't want to carry-on two hoses (clutter). This connector is the answer. I carry-on a 4 ft slim (15mm) hose for the long-haul flight since a long hose is not needed or wanted on the plane, and I pack a 6 ft slim hose in checked luggage. Then use this connector to join the two hoses for a 10 ft total hose length which gives plenty of flexibility for variable wall plug locations in hotel rooms, or to put noisy mini cpaps in a nightstand drawer. This connector easily connects standard 22mm hose ends (not specialty hose ends - like heated tubing). Note* I received two hose connectors as pictured, but the Amazon product description states "Comes with only 1 tubing connector". Not sure why the discrepancy, they should clean that up.

These connectors were perfect when paired with the 2 foot sections of hose I was carrying on a 500 mile trek in Spain. I needed to lighten my load and used shorter CPAP hoses sections paired with a portable machine and it made my journey possible. Much better than having to carry a standard 6 foot hose section! Hooray! A truly great value and easy way to compactly fit hose in my pack.

The CPAP tube coupler is a good fit for my ResMed 11 compatible tubing. Connecting two tubes together allows for much greater flexibility and range of being able to move freely even when the CPAP machine is a little farther away than ideal. I tend to roll around when I sleep. At first I used the connector with 2 normal tubes but now I use it with one heated tube and one normal tube. The heated tube needs to be the one directly connected to the CPAP because it has an electrical connection to the machine. I use the CPAP humidifier option and with the first tube being a heated tube, I do not get any condensation. My CPAP machine is the ResMed 11. I used the auto settings for Climate Control which automatically adjusts the tube heat and humidity settings.

There seems to be some question about size of this connector. I have a Resmed AirCurve 10 unit. I also purchased an 18-inch extension hose wit 22 MM ends. This connector works with both hoses. Though the size is not stated on the web page, it will connect my two 22 MM hoses. It works great.

It is clear and swivels. Will connect hoses. Will help prevent kinks. Probably will not take rough treatment. I am fine with it.

My husband needed an end to end connector for his CPAP mask. It fits perfectly expensive but worth it

Picture shows two items. A careful reading description implies only one item. Received only on item. Price too high for just one. Disappointed in seller and myself.
