Lasted five years in an MFP M29 laser jet printer
Have had the hp laserjet MFP M29w for over six years, and it's been great. Can sit for months without use, and then even on the first page the characters will be sharp and black (unlike with an inkjet, which seems to clog up just sitting around).

works perfectly with my M28 but way too expensive
Works wells with my Laser M28, but it is incredibly expensive as all ink and toner tends to be if it comes from the OEM. I initially thought about buying a no-name brand but they had a lot of complaints regarding printing quality. This toner comes straight from HP, so it better perform as expected. Also, I only print a couple of pages per year, so this toner will likely last me 5 or more years if not longer.

Genuine HP...
The Mrs. works from home and uses her HP Laser Jet printer regularly. I ordered her a generic printer cartridge last time and she didn't like the results. Print quality wasn't great, and the cartridge didn't last long enough. When I went to reorder this time, she insisted on HP. It will only be HP from now on...
