Health benefits? You might die a little happier. **Q: Can I use these to make a truffle oil infusion?** A: I only bought this product once. The truffles are already soaking in oil. The jar had minimal truffle aroma when I opened it. The truffles were rubbery and really pretty tasteless. I did not like this product at all and would not use it to try making anything. A better product is the truffle powder avialable here on amazon...that one I really like, but not good for making truffle oil. I suspect truffle oil would need to be made with fresh truffles. Because of prohibitive cost (I suspect) there is very little good real truffle oil out there to buy. **Q: how much should you use for a single dish- say pasta?** A: For me they don't work with pasta as well, by themselves. I prefer to make truffle butter with truffle oil and unsalted butter. Then just replace the butter with truffle butter in whatever pasta recipe you use. I'll then chop a few pieces of truffles to add. **Q: Where in Europe are the truffles sourced from?** A: I don't know but these things are disgusting, don't waste your money.
