The white should plug into an "audio in" socket on the DVR, although you may need an extension depending on where you want to put the microphone compared to a camera. If your DVR does not have an audio in, then .... why did you buy a microphone? If it has a different style of audio in port then you'll need an adaptor. **Q: Is this compatible and able to connect to Sansco 2mp dome cctv cameras with dvr without need for seperate power adapter ?** A: It needs power. It gets it in-line from the power wire going into a camera. Take the power plug out of the camera flying lead and plug it into the red socket on the microphone wiring, then plug the black jack from the microphone wiring into the camera flying lead. Connect the white socket to the mic port on your dvr (extension cable probably needed).
