Coconut Coir (or Eco Earth) While using coconut fiber as a general substrate has its downsides, there is no issue when you use coco as a moist hide substrate. Coco holds moisture well and will not get moldy easily. Leos will gladly dig and even lay eggs in this substrate. I use it for Giant African land snails. **Q: Is this ok for indoor rabbits to dig in** A: Once rehydrated it will be fine for rabbits to duig in. Just use the minimum amount of water needed. **Q: How much water for one brick?** A: Approximately 2.5 to 3 litres of water per brick . You will need a large waterproof container or bucket . If you don’t add enough water it will be a little dry - you can always add more .
