Install was unnecessarily tough. The plastic spacers in the kit are definitely needed but fall off constantly. Not as flush as I hoped. It's in the vehicle and will but I'm already shopping for a rubber pad replacement mount. Money lost for sure...

I would suggest this work really well for anybody my 1911 full size does not move and to be brutally honest I actually accidentally pinch my fingers With the magnet it’s no joke

When I say tactical tools I mean ferrous steel: pistols, knives, flashlights,and multitools.  Comes in a nice box to give as a gift, and with spare hardware for mounting.  I'm not worried about scratching, because the magnet appears to be fully encased in a plastic that won't harm any pistols surface.Something cool I found out, is that you can vary the magnetic force by changing the angle of your pistol. In the pic, the pistol and mag are loaded 20 rnds total.

I put this product under my nightstand to store a pistol (M&P Shield 45). I added a piece of 1/8" craft plywood between the mount and nightstand surface to make up for the longer screws. It holds the pistol in a perfect position, and is plenty strong that if the nightstand is bumped, it'll keep it in place. I may end up buying a couple more of these for other applications.

Love this thing! The magnet is very strong, and it was easy to install. My firearm is definitely very secure when I secure it with this. Usually I leave my firearm in my waistband, however on long drives I still it on here. Great purchase! And the thin blue line version looks great!

Easy to install and he loves it

This is a great gun mount that allows me to keep my pistol within arms reach, yet it is totally concealed. It has a very flat profile and my Glock attaches to it very smoothly and stays in place. It is also very easy to pull the gun from the mount quickly. I highly recommend this type of mount to keep your firearm within reach while keeping it inconspicuous.

Installs easy. Only reason I counted off is it will leave a few marks on your handgun (with blued finish). You can rub them off, but I'm OCD and it's a pain for me. May not mean much to you but as the vehicle drives down the road and hits bumps the pistol will bump and slide a round a little (not a lot), and leaves a few marks. They will rub out with some TLC but just an extra thing to do. Otherwise it works great and keeps your gun in place. Just a few minor movements.
