Are these chips hard or more like regular chips(Lays, doritos, etc.)?

These chips are hard but is very good

Are these chips baked or fried?

I have been trying to find out too. The bag saysthat they are cooked via a special vacum process. I have no idea what that is. They don't tast like they are fried. I think the chips are cooked guickly to keep their color.
